According to Western Star, EX is for the 132"/3.35 m BBC Extended hood model while a set forward axle would mean a 123"/3.12 m BBC SF version. Which one is this truck? -- Last edit: 2015-10-04 00:52:00 |

Set forward. If the axle was set back, the bumper would be curved to be more aerodynamic. Can't really tell from here whether it's the extended hood or not.. |

There is apparently no difference in the front part (bumper to front axle) between an SF and an EX, as only the length between the axle and the cab change (hence the bigger BBC). The wheel arch seems to be a bit thicker on an EX, but I'm not sure that the picture of this page can help us to see it. So until having a better shot or more clues, it's maybe "safer" to have it as "just 4900". -- Last edit: 2015-10-06 22:37:54 |
