1939-47 Job-Rated stake. Which means a T-Series for 1939, a V-Series for 1940 or a W-Series for 1941-47. With the 1940+ horizontal chrome bar on the grille and what seems to be the 1941+ cowl mounted park lamps. But there is a lot of possibilities for the stakes: • 120"/3.05 m wheelbase and 7½ ft./2.29 m bed (¾-ton TD-15 and 1-ton TD-20); • 133"/3.38 m one and 9 ft./2.74 m bed (1-ton TD-20). • 136"/3.45 m one and 9 ft. bed (1½-ton TF and 2-ton TH); • 160"/4.06 m wheelbase and 12 ft./3.66 m bed (1½-ton TF and 2-ton TH). This truck seems to have a small stake bed. But is it a 7½ ft or a 9 ft. one? If a 7½ ft. one, with which payload? If a 9 ft. one, what wheelbase is it made on? ⇒ 1941 W-Series Stake? -- Last edit: 2015-02-26 00:47:16 |
