1979-86 as International Harvester, 1987-89 as (Navistar) International. Without a view of the grille logo, IH is used here as default make. I don't see anything on the bumper? And once again, your link just shows the rear part of a bus, it doesn't mention anywhere that it's about a Blue Bird bodywork. What you think obvious is not automatically so for the others... BusExplorer doesn't respond, so I couldn't check the coachbuilder before. But the black bars location seem indeed to match with some other Blue bird bodies I saw. |

What I was trying to show in that pic is in the middle of the bumper that lighter area is the BB logo which is why I picked that particular image...If you also notice light placements etc...they are the same... |

supcoach is correct on the body, see the unique rear roof-line to the addition of the Blue Bird decal at the middle of the bumper. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:BluebirdSchoolbusStopSignTerrytown.jpg |

Similar to the European plate size, so it looked like a plate, for me, not like a logo ![]() But as said in my previous comment, there no obvious mention of Blue Bird anywhere in this picture. The "bumper logo" is unreadable (small and written with white letters on yellow background), so you may certainly guess what is written on it because you know it, but you can't expect everybody to be able to do the same. -- Last edit: 2015-11-14 17:55:25 |
