Mistake, the movie is set in 2001 and this car is a 2003. |

Although there are several mistakes in the movie, this is not one.....I remember first seeing a 2002 trailblazer(I don't think they change appearance from 2002-2003) in the summer of 2001. Is there anything to identify that this is a 2003? |

the chevrolet trailblazer was introduced in 2002 |

They're right. The Trailblazer remained unchanged in 2003. Just someone guessing a year. -- Last edit: 2012-04-14 19:21:49 |

This isn't an anachronism. The Chevy Trailblazer was introduced in 2001 as a 2002 model. Here are two reviews that confirm this. The Car and Driver review dates back to March 2001 and the Car Connection review from February 12, 2001. Btw I do remember seeing this model in public in Summer of 2001. Not a 2003 nor a 2002. Actually, a 2005-06 model because it lacks the TRAILBLAZER door badge that 2002-04 models had. http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/14147550.html -- Last edit: 2019-06-30 19:03:11 (walter) |

This is a brand new 2006 by the side molding. Hard to spot detail but the side molding changed in 2006 on both trim levels. See the breakdown here: /vehicle.php?id=1106196 According to Baube this is a side-lift ![]() |
