Looks like an Opel Kapitän, Admiral or Diplomat A circa '64-'68, but the definition of the picture is very low. |

For sure it is one of these, but impossible to tell which one. Maybe it could be called "Opel [KAD] 1964"? |

We can rule out Diplomat. The Diplomat had distinctive 15 inch wheels and a vinyl top as standard equipment. I seem to notice that the car in the pic has a narrow chrome rub strip down the flanks, which was standard on the Admiral, extra on the Kapitän. Since the majority of customers didn't kit out a Kapitän with many extra cost options but bought an Admiral instead, it is pretty safe to assume that this is an Admiral. So, Opel Admiral [A]. |
