 This generation was called Spark in Russia, 2005 by plate.

 0.8 (engine code A08S3) built May 6, 2005. Originally sold in Bulgaria it seems...and a 2006 MY even though the VIN says 5?

 That is what the build sheet states. I guess some manufacturers did not use the 10th digit as a MY. Seems to be the case here.
