It is indeed a Duple Dominant II-bodied Ford R1114, though I don't recognise the operator. Lightweight Ford and Bedford coaches were a staple of rural independents in the 1970s and early 1980s though found little favour with the larger groups, with Northern Scottish being the only exception that springs to mind. The Blundell Group-owned Smiths Happiway-Spencers took a reasonable amount of R1114s before switching to Volvo. |
