The kids have used a chain to attach it to a wall. When daddy wants to go to his work he puts the pedal to the metal (Because a condom is on the exhaust). It's split in two... (sorry for my bad English, but I don't know how to describe it well ) |

The main picture shows the car without the yellow sticker on the bumper while other pictures shows one on the left side. The exhaust port with the condom seems to have been added to the driver side just for that scene since it's not visible on other scenes. Dual exhausts were not available from the factory on the 1975-76 Buicks and the exhaust should be located on the right side (as it is on the other pics). Friends of mine told me that they once inserted potatoes in the exhaust of the 1968 Buick Wildcat I had when we were teenagers and they apparently watched me starting the car when I left to see what would happen. They told it to me later and I didn't believe they did so as I never noticed there was something wrong! If they told me the truth, apparently, the car took a bit longer to start and the potatoes went out as soon as the engine was started. Anyone tried doing such a thing? Anyway, I doubt that a condom would cause any problems in a situation like that! And I'd like to know what they did to this LeSabre to make it split in two like that. Maybe they removed the scene where the kids use the sawsall to cut the frame! |

They tested it in MythBusters if I remember well (I haven't seen it, but I have read it from the episodes summaries) to prove that the engine being damaged by a blocked exhaust was a myth. |

By the way, the kids wreck the car because their father drove over their sandcastle (4th. thumbnail). |
