Teacher's Highland Cream is a blend that has always been brewed in Glasgow - the usual word for whisky is distilled, but Teachers is nasty stuff and closer to paint-stripper. The thumbs look intriguing for location - might be A82 Glencoe (2nd thumb) with the 1st thumb bridge on one of the old A82 bypassed bits, but to be honest they could be loads of other places as well. Teachers bought other distilleries at Glendronach (Speyside/Aberdeenshire) and Ardmore (near Tain on the south shore of Dornoch Firth in Easter Ross) so they're possible areas. |
