I know US/South America received South Korean sourced models. What say you Gamer? Seems first MY is EU is 1995 while first MY in Russia seems to be 1994.

I read that European models were built by Karmann in Germany (and this fact was highly published at the time), but I don't know if really every first generation EU model was built there or there were also some Korean built ones.
