Chassis-cab model (is this a refrigerated box?) from the 1955-59 Task-Force truck line, here with the 1957 fender emblem and the 1957 grille of the light-duty models indeed. And a missing fender A view of the wheelbase could help to identify it more precisely: unlikely a ½-ton 3100 (114"/2.90 m wheelbase; the long ½-ton 3200 was only available as pickup), but is it a ¾-ton 3600 (123¼"/3.13 m) or a 1-ton 3800 (135"/3.43 m)? @ supcoach: No Apache (light-duty), Viking (medium-duty) nor Spartan (heavy-duty) subline name until the 1958 model year. _____ (I think that the Trucks, Simple truck class should be kept as medium- and heavy-duty equivalent models would be classified as Simple trucks although sold as chassis-cab too...) -- Last edit: 2016-02-06 05:14:01 |
