C'est l'ambulance qui amortit médiocrement la chute du policer Michel Serrault, nostalgique de Vichy et de l'occupation allemande.

Some square features in front make me think it is a Type H of some sort. What do you think?

Type H for me, too.

I don't think so : H 75 Ambulance were with the usual frame, so the rear access was with top half hatch and bottom, two "doors". At least on the picture found. This vehicule has just two full doors and a footboard.

And most have had a blue beacon. Here what we can take for the square muzzle of the H 75 could be a top / ceiling square light.

Like those Renault : /vehicles_make-Renault_model-1400+Kg+Go%E9lette+Ambulance.html

My 2 cents ;)

It could also be a 'technical truck' (for cinema crew and sound equipment, for instance) disguised as an ambulance by a mere red cross on the roof.
