In the Pittsburgh area, a truck with '110' on it would be from Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Company, and that name can be discerned on the side of the ladder: http://www.bethelparkvfc.com/about-us/fire-apparatus/ One of their older Pierces? Or possibly their newest unit, Engine 110-Truck 3, a 2012 Smeal Sirius? ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-02-09 01:44:19 |

Some information about Smeal: Smeal Fire Apparatus was founded in 1963 by Donald Smeal and is headquartered in Snyder, Nebraska (USA). The company has been known for the manufacturing of fire bodies, more commonly on Spartan chassis. In recent years, they began manufacturing their own chassis. |

This'll be one of the few fire apparatus to feature a Smeal chassis. An announcement made recently that Smeal will be purchased by Spartan ERV. Link to "www.firehouse.com" -- Last edit: 2017-01-08 21:15:46 |
