Horizontal blinkers, front face holes and inverted "T" grille of a 1958-61 Series II / 1961-68 Series IIa indeed. The location of the former headlamp is still visible on the right (i.e. left part of the picture ), and the ones on the fenders are located too low: as already said by dsl, not a 1969-71 Series IIa / 1971-85 Series III. (1958-68 front face // 1969+ one) If I'm not mistaken, only a clear close view of the windshield vent hinges could help to tell a Series II from a Series IIa (screwed hinges vs. welded ones): ⇒ 1958 Series II (as default identification)? |
