That is one MY 1968+ in (at least) thumb nr. 5 and chase: thumb nr. 3, and one MY 1966 (only) in (at least) the main picture, thumb nr. 1 and chase: thumb nr. 5. MY 1966-67 have a different grille Link to "www.123rf.com" with plenty of small "squares" between each chrome strip, compare with the one available MY 1968-72 Link to "www.benzworld.org" . Also the 4th thumb shows blue exhaust fumes, likely to belong to a 1966 MY (only) because of a mistake in oil sealing around the pistons and (ultimately) cooling. Quite a few things were improved on the 1967 MY and a new head (with better cooling) fitted from MY 1968. Edit: That is one 1966 Mercedes-Benz 250 S or SE (not 300 SE) [W 108], and one 1968+ Mercedes-Benz 280 S or SE [W 108]. -- Last edit: 2016-03-27 18:05:53
