These RWD Ponys were never sold in the US. One car has a BC (Canada) front plate and the other a California plate and their numbers are different. |

Yeah, a look closely at the images that were provided by stronghold, the grilles are altered - one clearly shows the "Hyundai" name, the other the simple HD. Here in Canada it wasn't unusual to see either on the road, I can't recall if it was a stylistic difference, or, if it beared relevance to the trim level of the car. On the last of the 3 images, we see that the "Hyundai" name is missing altogether. |

'84 and '85 had the "HD" badge, '86 and '87 said "Hyundai". I like how the car seems to have gained a passenger side mirror after being smashed up. |

Car in the middle pic also has the red stripe on the bumper, indicating it's a 1600cc instead of the base 1400. (Which is probably why the car in the first photo doesn't have a passenger side mirror- that was an option.) |
