This place called "Alfa" on Wenceslas (Prague) was a Nightclub in the early eighties with renewed facade, mostly attended by the youth of the Communist Nomenclatura and few tourists like me. I spent there some nice moments at several occasions during my journey in Czechoslovakia in february of 1982 and I remember to have introduced in the DJ Set, between some Beatles music and Soviet Disco, a K7 of one the tube of the time, the single "This is Radio Clash" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MugBYXxEs3k ..... This degenerate capitalist music was not very appreciated by the cops present in the club and I had almost to leave the place... -- Last edit: 2016-04-17 10:52:28 |
