A Chevrolet ? Where ? I can see a pair of Ford Cortina, a Citroën GS and a Renault 5. |

The Citroën is clearly an early GS, dispite the lina on it's flanks: pointed rearlights are very distinctive. (1970+) |

I think a GS Club built between 08 1970 and 07 1976 or a GS 1220 built between 08 1972 and 07 1976. The colouris Blanc Meije I think, which was available in all modelyears, so that doesn't limit the building period of this GS. The striping on the side is an aftermerket product. The GS Pallas, which did have a standard strping on the side, had different striping. |

The actual country is not Iran, but Israel: No one Peykan (a Hillman Hunter clone), but lots of quite similer Mk2 Cortinas, very rare in Iran, but common in Israel, and they have the rear end reflective strips tipical and mandatory for the Israeli market. Does anybody agree with me ? |

You're right, but you are not the first person to notice it. /vehicle_3280-Ford-Cortina-1967.html |
