its actually a 98 integra. and its not actually a type r. its a clone. they only put black with red stiched recaro seats in the 98s. those ones are obviously red. -- Last edit: 2007-04-27 07:17:59 |

Could be a clone and seat are strange (but difficult to identify), but no sunroof unlike most coupé, right colour, rear wing and badges (I know replica are for free on E-bay). Then opting for a real Type R was not a shame |

One way to tell is.. obviously, badge, seats.. roof, stance, taillights, and side-moldings. And I believe that is a real Type-R. There aren't side-moldings. Just that sexy line there to see. |

How do you know it's not a Type R? Canadian Type Rs had the red front and rear seats as pictured. Do a search first before you decide to post possible misinformation. -- Last edit: 2007-11-16 02:31:45 |

there's no such thing as a "Canadian" Type R. Sorry. Speak of misinformation... There is the USDM Type R and the JDM Type R. JDM (Japanese) came with the red Recaros. USDM Type R's came with black w/ red stitching Recaro seats. The badges, lack of sunroof, tails, and Type R decal placement all seem that of a genuine Type R. |

There is also an European Type R, sold as an Honda of course (like in Japan) |

correct me if i am wrong but wasn't 1998 the first year for all-red taillights on the integra? |

Yes there was a "Canadian Type R". It has the same spec as USA, but DID have red seats of the same style of the US (not Recaros BTW). The Type R in this picture is a Candadian Type R from 2001 (the only year red seats were available). |

'98-01 Acura Integra Type R. Facelift model (judging from the rear bumper and all-red taillights). |
