We currently don't use the [A] or [B] designations on IMCDb. Should they be used? Were they officially applied by Opel? |

Never was interested in this, but they are commonly named A, B same like most of Opels. |

The first Opel to use the alphabetic letters was the Kadett in late 1962, followed closely by the Rekord in 1963. I doubt this designation was applied as early as 1960 to refer to the Blitz - to me, this designation must have appeared later with the launch of these cars and therefore I find it hard to verify if it's legit. -- Last edit: 2016-05-19 16:37:03 |
