I think there are a lot of old military trucks with the same look: Chevrolet G506 Studebaker US6 I can't find any difference between them at all, but honestly I'm not really interested in them so that can be the main reason for my ignorance about them. |

Chevy had much smaller air vents on the side panels http://www.weaponsofwwii.com/forumfiles/Tanks/PMVR/UK/P6100006.JPG CCKW had long vents https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/db/GMC-cckw-swb.jpg US6 had no vents and completely different fenders, very easy to spot http://www.studebakerpictures.com/pics/Studebaker.1945.StudebakerUS6_2845.jpg |

Thanks mike962, and as I previously mentioned... I never bothered myself to look for that difference, such a shame on me |

Yes this is the GMC as mike962 points out. International Harvest also built similar tucks to the list above. However this pic shows the non-driving front axle of a CCW, not the "K". -- Last edit: 2016-12-03 03:30:12 |
