Skid ◊ 2008-07-01 05:47	They tested it at 447 on a chassis dyno (which of course measures rear wheel horsepower), then claimed Ford was artificially inflated the horsepower levels...nevermind that Ford, like all auto manufacturers worldwide, rate horsepower at the crank...447 wheel horsepower actually equates to well OVER 500 horsepower at the crank...in fact, assuming an 18% powertrain loss (average for most modern RWD cars), it's roughly 545 horsepower.
