I would say a customized 63 Ford Falcon convertible or a Comet.

Probably the Comet.

That is not a Comet.

There's no way this is a Comet and based on the shape of the front fender, I'm suspecting it's not a Falcon either. Darned if I know what it is.

This looks alot like a 1962 Ford Fairlane, Customized by George Barris, searching for pics....... Ford didnt build a convt 62 Fairlane, but I think Barris did.

I have "The Munsters" in my Netflix queue and plan to pull images from it as my next TV project. The disc that has this episode is already on its way to me so hopefully I can get a better glimpse of this car. The rear fender does, really, look like a Ford Falcon, almost dead on in fact. But the side trim and front fender are throwing me way off. Then again this could very well be a Kustom which would explain the different look.

Firebird86, I saw the car you're referring to. The '63 Fairlane modified by Barris, had an "interrupted roof" (section missing just above the front seat) and I don't think this is that car.

I know which car you are talking about, But Barris customized alot of Fords and Mercury's in the early 60's. I know he did all the (modified) cars used in the Munsters series, it seems like a logical direction to search.

OK I got my DVD of that Munsters episode in the mail today, and sure enough it's a kustom. Check out this alternate shot of the front grille:

So it's likely not recognizable as whatever car it started out as. Now I'm leaning more heavily toward the 1963 Ford Falcon, maybe the Futura. I base this on the windshield frame, the rear fender and the little vent on the hood.

Now that Ive seen the frontend, Im leaning toward a 1963 Ford Fairlane 500, sans roof

It could be a 1963 Falcon with a Fairlane front clip...

I just think it looks too small to be a Fairlane, otherwise the Fairlane would at least be my second choice. The rear fender looks more like a Falcon, it's missing the Fairlane mini-fin over the tail light and I would think Barris would've left the fin there. He always seemed to like fins. The curve around the tail light seems to match the Falcon as well, the Fairlane sits a little higher. Fairlane would otherwise be a reasonable possibility, and if it's a Fairlane at all it would definitely be a '63 IMHO.

Then again, I can't find any of Barris' Falcons online, though I did see a couple customized by Vince Gardner (the "Cayuse" Falcon).

Yes It is a Ford Falcon just with a different hood and side chrome.

This is a 1963 Ford Falcon Futura convertible customized in 1963 by Bill Cushenberry, called the Falcon Franciscan. It was built for the Ford Custom Car Caravan, which ran from 1963 to 1965.
