Great find for CCC. However, I expect the model name is something like Century II, Unimixer http://www.cranecarrier.com/images/hist_picture_029.jpg Not Redi-mix. Redi-mix is a brand name for concrete and probably refers to the type of cargo rather than the model name. -- Last edit: 2007-03-12 17:40:33 |

Good point. But the name given in the site was "Redi-Mix/Material Hauler" http://www.cranecarrier.com/specialty.htm In any case, I'd also use this to take a close look at any unidentified garbage trucks and terminal tractors that have turned up and might turn up in the future. |

Yes, I read the material on the site and the link I posted was from it. I still think that Redi-mix/material handler refers to the intended use and/or cargo rather than a model name. The one here looks very much like the century II, Unimixer from that site. I agree re: garbage trucks, etc., the site you found is great and should help - I have it bookmarked. edit: Here is a picture of a century II on the job: http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/dpearson/2004/mar/maspeth_ccc_1.jpg The more I look at it the more it looks like the one posted. -- Last edit: 2007-03-13 02:34:48 |

Chevy Barretta police cars!!! odd, the truck is either an older Autocar or a White |

Neither. As I stated, it's a CCC, and as wrenchehad reminded me it's a Century II. |
