It's one of those moving vans bodied by Ackermann. They were based on many truck chassis : Büssing, Mercedes, Magirus, MAN, Henschel... If we can't see the grille, it's impossible to say which one it is. |

trimline design changed over the years bended downwards first, than horizontal, here bended upwards on front... there is a chance by livery could be that of Carl Balke location Berlin... |

Mercedes-Benz LP 321 [LP57] by trimline based on LP design http://www.arstecnica.de/arstecnica/index.php/de/historische-anlagen this trimline only to be found with Mercedes furthermore only Mercedes has oval grille with integrated headlights to be anticipated were man is leaning on Carl Balke Holzminden using Mercedes since the early days with Knauer and Balke Mercedes models by Wiking + Brekina to be found , too |

It's not necessarily integrated headlights. I mean it's impossible to see that, because the man is leaning on the truck. And Balke wasn't the only german moving company to use red trucks. Brekina has a lot of those in its product list. |

yes, many red Brekina models: Hecker , Anton Graf , Fritz Wilken Möbel Pfister "Rote Radler" Frankfurt ... and all are Mercedeses But what about rare dual trimline sloped around the corner... will have an eye on it, as i think it is exclusively for Mercedes dual line is Mercedes 99% BTW ours is older more bulbous front of late 50ies like Wiking model while Brekina is early 60ies Pullman -- Last edit: 2016-07-31 02:01:25 |
