Japanese specification? Or a bodged repair with the tailgate from a North American model? |

Curious also that it has got also the front plate in square format... anyway, being a 270 CDI with RHD it cannot be an US-spec model... maybe really Japanese? ![]() |

- Link to "mercedes-benz-publicarchive.com" - straight from the MB official archive. These face lifted models are 2002 MY (Doesn't matter if the country adheres to MY standards; Mercedes-Benz does and they manufactured this vehicle with specific coders pertaining to the MY. If you doubt me please go ahead and pull build sheets. You will see the 800 codes which dictate the MY). Why is this a CDI model? There isn't a right rear badge. Should be listed as a 2002 and ML. Also, Austria built MLs until 2002 (unsure of the exact date this ceased so it is possible they built up until the 2003 MY) so without a VIN the built in tag should be blank as it could be USA or Austrian built. -- Last edit: 2022-01-07 21:31:08 |

Maybe the CDI badge fell off or it was removed? Looks indeed this one (which has the badge): /vehicle.php?id=943582 |
