By the blurry main pic I thought about a Steyr, but the grille (4th thumbnail) makes me think into direction Fiat ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-08-05 00:02:06 |

It could be coachbuilder bodied Fiat (by Viotti, Farina, or Others). I am also suspecting a Salmson or other French luxus brands of the 40s. -- Last edit: 2016-08-04 23:54:39 |

I'm pretty sure this is based on a Fiat 1500. The badge on the grille looks like Fiat, the lefthand steering wheel excludes French luxury cars and the dashboard with two bog clocks matches with the Fiat 1500 (and excludes the smaller 508/1100). http://zuckerfabrik24.de/fiat/pics/1500D_1i.jpg |

DynaMike, I am thinking you are right but Its body is by one of the many coachbuilders of the era in Italy. |

Viotti my guess https://www.flickr.com/photos/autohistorian/6059705042/ it seems while Viotti & Farina used Fiat grille elemnts others like Bertone made US style grilles, so no Bertone for sure think Viotti by straight sloped rear end ! -- Last edit: 2016-08-05 16:39:59 |
