Düsseldorfer Transporter for sure, but is it a 1967+ M-B T2 or a 1967-69 Hanomag / 1970-73 Hanomag-Henschel F-Series? Couldn't the shiny thing on the front face be the large headlamps of a Hanomag version?![]() (M-B // Hanomag) |

By the fender badge placement I'd say it's much rather the MB. |

The MB models were indeed apparently less rigorous about that location ![]() ![]() ![]() Or could it be a matter of model year? Maybe a track to follow... |

No. On the first thumb it's just unoriginal headlights. Before the first facelift in 1977 there were no optical changes at all. -- Last edit: 2016-08-29 04:58:00 (eLMer) |

No need to quote the whole comment, ingo, all the more as mine was just above and made a few hours before yours... I was talking about the location of the fender emblem, not about the headlamps which are clearly non-factory models in the left picture. Both pictures above show a 1967-77 model, but obviously with a different emblem location: did a slight change take place during this time interval, was this location randomly chosen (which is highly unlikely ![]() |
