Location: The main entrance / eastern gate of the Olympic stadium, built for the infamous 1936 Summer Olympics. The stadium survived the war (although the bell tower was damaged and rebuilt in 1962). For many years, it is the home of football club Hertha BSC Berlin, and it was also used for the 1974 world cup, and - after the major renovation - also for the 2006 one. |
