Yeah, they were nice looking. And "rust buckets." And, our 1971 Vega wagon (Kammback) - bought new - burned through oil like crazy, it broke down the very first night my Mom took it out, and the top of the front fenders completely rusted after 2 years (fortunately covered by warranty; or maybe Mom shamed the dealer into fixing it). |
