 Is it an original BMW Cabrio by Baur? The 'real' Cabriolet didn't seem to have rear side windows, the 'targa' Cabriolet mit Überrollbügel had a different rear side window in the clearly visible rollbar... (thanks to Ralph's site: www.bmw-02-club.de/cabrio.htm )

Ich hatte nicht gesehen, daß das hintere Seitenfenster beim oben abgebildeten Cabrio in einem dunkelfarbigen Überrollbügel eingerahmt ist, daher meine Zweifel bezüglich der Originalität. Bleibt nun die Frage, ob der (nicht offizielle) Name 'Targa' verwendet werden sollte, oder ob 'Cabriolet' und Baujahr zusammen ausreichen.

Die letzten (Voll)Cabriolets und die ersten 'Targas' wurden 1971 parallel gebaut.
1971 gab es:
das 1600 Cabriolet,
das 2002 Cabriolet (200 Stück) und
das 2002 Cabriolet mit Überrollbügel (Targa)
alle wurden bei Baur in Stuttgart gebaut.

Baur hat für Porsche das Targa Konzept mit dem herausnehmbarem Dachteil entwickelt und auch (imo) den Namen erfunden. Es war von Anfang an in der Auto-Presse üblich die BMW Cabriolets mit Überrollbügel als Targa zu bezeichnen.

'BMW 1600 Cabriolet' und 'BMW 2002 Targa' wäre am sinnvollsten.
