Poorly visible; looks like a hood scoop, I am thinking Fiat 1600 S Cabriolet |

But window frame looks different for Fiat ... I don't know |

How about a Spitfire?? |

Not sure about a Spitfire. I was thinking about a Lancia Appia cabriolet by Vignale, but what dsl proposed coild be as well. I don't remember the front hood air scoop on the Spitfire but I could be wrong. -- Last edit: 2016-09-23 11:04:54 |

Compare /vehicle_432528-Triumph-Spitfire-4-1963.html . Spitfire did not have a scoop, so if this is a Spitfire, the "scoop" is a reflection. Screen shape, raised trim along wing tops, and raised moulding down bonnet centreline look good to me. But I could be mis-reading what I see within the reflections, so it is a real scoop and there is no raised trim along wing tops or raised moulding down bonnet centreline, so Lancia idea is also possible eg /vehicle_412026-Lancia-Appia-Convertibile-812-1959.html |

Not a Triumph, I think... Note the straight bonnet and front fender lines: both are slighlty curved on the Spitfire, as is the upper windscreen frame; its windscreen is also lower and less upright than what we see here. I agree that the few discernible details – including a moulding on the A-pillar – match better with a Lancia Appia Vignale Convertible. |

OK - Lancia wins. |
