1951 onwards painted grille. DK assembly by DOMI started very early but haven't found a definite date. DOMI had a big fire in 1951 with big rebuild and then steady Minor production from the new modern facilities, but seems there was some pre-fire build. |

1946 (that's not a date) |

Another DOMI reference - http://www.aronline.co.uk/blogs/around-the-world/around-the-world-denmark/ , plus there's a lot of sites discussing the unique DOMI van designs. The earliest DK could theoretically build Minors was 1949 after UK production could start supplying the CKD packs, but pre-fire DOMI seems to have been small numbers of cars in batches on chewing-gum-and-sellotape facilities. The post-fire rebuild meant proper factory assembly for the first time. This one - due to painted grille (March 51) - is 51 or later |

OK, guess I misread your question as if you meant DOMI start date. That would be 1946. For the Minor, 1949 (technically, not a date) |

It's got a Series II bonnet motif, the horizontal barred grille did not appear until late in 1954. I do not think, therefore, that it's an MM. |

Not sure of Danish name for early Minors - lots of references that they were not called Minors, but 1000 Super for saloons etc. But this one is too early for 1000 to be applicable, so it'll have to stay as Minor until definite info found. |
