 Deluxe, probably Sunbeam-badged with solid plaque just above the bumper instead of simpler chromed Hillman script. |

I read on "Apex; The inside History of the Hillman Imp" that in some Scadinavian country the Imp was Sunbeam badged but had a number name instead of Imp (Sunbeam and the cc number as the case of the 1250/Avenger) |

I've seen same Scandinavia suggestions for Sunbeam 875 and later as Chrysler 900, but nothing for dates and which countries. My guess is that these might date to 1970 or later as companions to the Avenger renaming (1250/1500 and then from 1973 as 1300/1600), but the references I've seen are too faint and undefined to do anything with. But they're in the back of my mind in case useful evidence can be found. |
