boys_bible ◊ 2016-10-15 05:18	About 1995, the Land-Rover jeeps were withdrawn from HK police. Ford Transit replaced that position. In older days, because of British influence, HK police chose to use Land-Rover jeep. The advantage is those Land-Rover could overcome the hilly areas, and poor road environment: at that time the roads of Hong Kong were generally bad to use, such as rural area. Nowadays HK police has some jeeps, but all are Japanese models.
