Rare Orvis Edition built March 23, 1996 in Moss Green Pearlcoat. Originally sold in Nova Scotia. Was the Orvis based off the Limited? Because that's what the description for this one reads. 1J4GZ78Y0TC319824 |

The Orvis Edition was from 1995-1997, it was indeed based on the Limited trim. The biggest difference between the Orvis Edition and a regular Limited was the perforated leather interior in tan and Moss Green two-tone. They were all 5.2L V8 powered and featured Jeeps UpCountry Suspension package. Most were Moss Green Pearlcoat, but they could also be had in white (the rarest of the three colors) or Driftwood Satin Glow Pearl. |

In UK Grand Cherokee Orvis was Nov 1997 addition, based on 4.0 Limited with "Ultra Star" alloys, mesh front grille, bonnet louvres, wide sills, stainless steel kick plates, and new style roof rails. No mention of colour choice. Discontinued June 1999. We also got (not-Grand) Cherokee Orvis March 1999 to Sept 2001 4.0 and 2.5TD with much longer list of trinkets. |
