The bumper and the grille indicate a light-duty model, and the height of the stake / platform rack could be the one of a 1-ton 3800 model. But a side view would be better to confirm (or infirm) it thanks to the wheelbase length or the wheel rims style.

eLMeR ◊ 2016-10-20 08:58	Thanks for these additional pics, Cibup. It's in fact a home made stake built on a very short wheelbase: based on a ½-ton (3100) or ¾-ton (3600) chassis-cab? As said previously, 1955 only hood end badge, but the first thumb shows a 1956 only fender badge. Or more precisely a badge that comes from the left fender of a 1956 only truck: whatever the side, the number part should be near the door... Let's keep 1955 as default model year
