Not sure about a "Limited Edition"? Expect that decal was owner applied. This appears to be one of 3572 North American Series III produced between 1972-1974. The model was initially called "De Luxe hardtop" and by '74 simply "88 Station Wagon". Has the unique US/Canada side marker lights, larger diameter indicator lens front & rear, dual rectangular reverse lights. More specifically the "taller" red stop light lens is of late production. Most likely this is a late 1973 to 1974 model based on the style stop/tail lamp. I own one of these (late '73) and the red stop lamp Lucas #911 is quite rare when replacing. Safe to call it 1973. |
