That green car parked near the land-rover looks like a Lada. |

The Green car behind the Land Rover, is a 1971 Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina. |

It's, indeed, an Alfa Romeo Berlina but since it's not possible to see clearly the rear lights it can also be a 2000 Berlina. In fact, it seems to have headrests, a feature that the 1750 Berlina 2a serie didn't have. About the Mini, it seems to have the Clubman front end. In South Africa there was also a Mini GTS with this front end, but I think it had wider wheel arches. Judging by the integrated reverse lights, I would say this must be a 1977+ Mini Clubman from Leyland South Africa. -- Last edit: 2008-02-25 16:03:33 |

The green car is indeed a 1750, it was owned by my uncle. This is one of the rare Alfa's in South Africa, because it wasn't assembled in SA it was imported on its wheels from Italy, the mascots all had Milano writen in them. Then for interest, the seen was shot at the Rand Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa. -- Last edit: 2008-02-26 08:20:37 |
