1969. License plate: BYH280 |

Why does the license plate make it a 1969 model as opposed to a 1967 or 1968 model?? |
◊ 2016-11-21 18:03 |
Because the specific year is stated by running the plate through the registration agency..? |

1. How can anyone see the plate based on the pic above 2. It may have first been registered in 1969 but that does not necessarily make it a 1969 model. It could have been imported a year or two previously and not titled until 1969. |

1) obviously polit1's knowledge about the plate comes from a different picture of it 2) it says that it's a 1969 model registered in 1991, so yes |

Sorry for late answer. It's this one, owned by the Swedish Police Museum in Stockholm. The SAAB 95 V4 and Plymouth Valiant seen in the picture are also owned by the Police Museum. They are authentic police vehicles. Link to "cdn.simplesite.com" The two police Volvo Amazons, and the police Volvo 244 seen in the series are owned by private collectors. Dodge Modell A 108 Fordonsår / Modellår 1969 / 1969 Registreringsnummer BYH280 Chassinr / VIN 1962171327 1=A100 Pickup, Van 9=Van (Tradesman, Panel) 6=6 cylinder 2=Warren 171327 - serial number The A-108 code is only pulled from the build plate on the driver's wheel well but we can see the extra windows so we don't need it. Would be neat is there was a picture of the build plate for this van ![]() Where I pulled the information: https://www.dodgetalk.com/threads/vehicle-identification.191007/ |
