Anyone? Well 1940-1957 only two 7" sealed beam units were allowed in the US. For 1957, some states allowed four 5,75" units while the rest of the US followed for 1958. So most 1958 cars got the new quad setup, also the Ford C-series, obviuosly. Exactly why Ford reverted to two headlamps is not easily found but they did so for 1961, like you found. |
