Some trivia: The guy on the right later became known as Rånarpolisen ("The Robber Cop"). One week before Christmas 2004, he robbed a bank while he was off duty (surveillance photo: Link to "gfx2.aftonbladet-cdn.se"). After the robbery he went back and was the first policeman on the crime scene, investigating his own robbery. He stashed the stolen money in his office at the police station. "The Robber Cop" was eventually revealed and got five years in prison. Reasons for the robbery was to afford a new car and to buy Christmas presents for his family. ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-11-30 19:45:34 |

Here is another shot from the series intro. As the one in the main pic, those are former police cars used in training new police recruits. 90% seems to be SAAB 900. The most common police car in Sweden at this time were either SAAB 900 or Volvo 240. Maybe the 240s held up better and stayed in service. I think these scenes were recorded in 1989. ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-12-01 02:29:08 |
