On the top of the heap is a 1959 Ford 4-door sedan. May be a Fairlane. |

Is this Canadian made version? |

Good question. Is this scene filmed in Canada? How can you tell if this is a Canadian Meteor? It seems to be missing a fair amount of trim, but it could be either a US-built Ford Fairlane 500 or Canadian Meteor Rideau 500 or Niagra 500. |

From what I understand that most American style Ford are being made in Canada as right hand drive before shipping to Australia. Some are being shipped as CKD to assembled locally... |

OK, built in Canad, but still called Ford Fairlane 500? If so, the 'made for AUS' would be apropriate, since Canadian built cars for Canada appear to have had different names. |

Maybe this Link to "en.wikipedia.org" could clarify this confusion... |

Cars built or assembled from CKD in Australia were often produced for several years, so while it’s clearly a 1959 design it could actually a 1960 or later car. |
