On the top of the heap is a 1959 Ford 4-door sedan. May be a Fairlane.

Good question. Is this scene filmed in Canada? How can you tell if this is a Canadian Meteor? It seems to be missing a fair amount of trim, but it could be either a US-built Ford Fairlane 500 or Canadian Meteor Rideau 500 or Niagra 500.

From what I understand that most American style Ford are being made in Canada as right hand drive before shipping to Australia. Some are being shipped as CKD to assembled locally...

OK, built in Canad, but still called Ford Fairlane 500? If so, the 'made for AUS' would be apropriate, since Canadian built cars for Canada appear to have had different names.

Maybe this Link to "en.wikipedia.org" could clarify this confusion...

Cars built or assembled from CKD in Australia were often produced for several years, so while it’s clearly a 1959 design it could actually a 1960 or later car.
