My few remarks: judging by this car and few more I was able to see, "French" Polonez kept badge "Polski" at least till the mid 1980s, BUT already in 1980/81 in French brochures and adverts the name "FSO Polonez" was used in place of previously used name "FSO Polski". Anyway, again judging by the promo materials, in this version the name "Mistral" worked as model name depsite the rear badge. Though worth to add, that I was unable to find any other Mistral with this "shorter" front end.
