Could be an IH/ McCorming/ Deering - looks a bit like this 1958 International TD-9 91 Series Crawler: Link to "www.tractorshed.com" but on this one, the hydraulic cylinders are inboard of the tracks while on the one on the link they are outboard. It could also be one of a number of other makes, e.g. Allis Chalmers, David Brown, Massey-Ferguson, etc. The slanted after market shield over the grille makes it especially difficult to identify. Some pointers that we could keep in mind: - Tractor manufacturers often paint their crawlers another colour than their agricultural tractors; - There are quite a few little-known crawler manufacturers; - The blade that attaches almost Bobcat-style to the rear, and run fully inboard of the tracks; - The absence of shields/ mudguards over the tracks; - The shape of the "box" around the seat; - The position and fitting of the lights; - the side on which the exhaust and the air cleaner sits - some IH crawlers would have fitted the bill if these were on the other side. All in all, I have to admit that I'm still clueless... |
