They wear wide-body styling similar to the Challenger GT AWD concept shown at the 2015 SEMA show. Link to "blog.caranddriver.com" Supposedly a widebody Hellcat is in the works for production, but "Dodge spokesperson Dan Reid told us that any relation the vehicles featured in Fast 8 have with future Dodge products is coincidental and the result of 'creative license' by the studio." Since the movie is released, should be a 2017 SRT Demon for now on? The movie's released date was April 14, 2017, where the date also marks the opening of the New York Auto Show 2017, which the SRT Demon was revealed in there. |

Demon badges are visible in the film. I'd say this is confirmed Dodge Challenger Demon. |

Demon should be a part of the model name, probably we should match the info with these SRT Demons : /vehicle_1023921-Dodge-Challenger-SRT-Demon-LA-2017.html /vehicle_1024374-Dodge-Challenger-SRT-Demon-LA-2017.html The other two SRT Demons were listed as 2017 model year, should be 2018? WheelSage.org also once refers it as 2018 model. Link to "en.wheelsage.org" Wikipedia also refers it as 2018 model too : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Challenger#2018_model_year |
