If I look at this picture of a C6G1: Link to "www.konrad-auwaerter.de", I am quite sure it was C6-based (especially looking at the grille). The missing front bumper and the shape of the front mudguards are throwing me out, though... ![]() -- Last edit: 2007-04-09 00:11:31 |

That's what I said in french, it puzzles because it seems to be a perfect mix between a C6 (radiator grill) and a Type23(or U23) (shape of cabin, mudguards/wings) ... maybe a transformation? or is it a range between these 2 ranges? |

Type 23 shouls have a 'folded' radiator with large double chevrons. I agree on U23(R) with C6 radiator 'modèle bricolage'. Date probably 1937 but I'm not sure... |

Sorry, sixcyl - I'll have to touch up on my French, love your cars, films, Gauloises, and will be forever grateful for your viticulture legacy, but my use/ understanding of your language is dangerous... ![]() If you go to http://www.citroenet.org.uk/utilities/utilities-index.html, you will find all the Citroën utilities listed there. I did, for a moment, think it might be an 850DI, but the body style is wrong. It could also be an early Type 45, but from the pictures it looks too small and the wheelbase appears too short for that. It could possibly be a variant of the short-lived Type 29 (1933 - 1934) or its replacement, Type 32, but I could not yet find a picture of one with a C6-type grille, all have the TA-type scooped grille. |

Its a verry cool Hot-Rod ;-) Its a U23 with the Radiator grill from a AC4 (28-32) . But Citroen build Trucks based on the AC4 and AC6, the look verry similar, but the Cab is to big on this car. |

-- Last edit: 2015-12-27 02:58:25 |
