1969+ headlamps (on the fenders) for sure, and with what appears to be a recessed grille, so a Series: either a 1969-71 Series IIa or a 1971-85 Series III. From what is visible, it could be the metal grille of a Series IIa, but is there a clearer view of the grille, Alex_DJ?. A side view would also help to identify the length. -- Last edit: 2017-01-09 02:08:03 |

Don't know if this one is somehow clearer:![]() Anyway, unfortunately it's only shown from the front... |

Thanks for trying, Alex_DJ. I'm afraid this new picture doesn't give more usable details ![]() |

Seems Series III to me - badge, headlights, possible grille outline in main. Can't see it as normal S2a. |

@ dsl: I don' see any specific detail that could help to differentiate the headlamps of a 1969-71 Series IIa from the ones of a 1971+ Series III? ![]() ![]() But you're right: I focused on the almost invisible grille while the grille logo is obviously the one of a Series III... |

Maybe I was a bit premature about the headlights, so honours even. |
