Just double-checked the dash pad - it's unquestionably a pre-1978 car. The dash pad has a wide central notch to clear the defroster vents, while a '78-79 would have a stepped dash - the pad ends halfway down the dash to expose the entire metal panel where the defroster vents sit. Earliest year if vertical radiator grill, 1977; earliest year if horizontal, 1975. Given the location of the step in the hood, I'm almost certain it has a horizontal grille - in which case, the car is a 1975-1976. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2012-02-06 02:08:38 |
