Not to my liking really; admittedly, I only watched this one to see a young Ronet. Contains some archive footage. -- Last edit: 2016-01-08 02:16:30 |

Deux des sept segments furent tournés en Italie par des équipes italiennes. Two of the 7 segments were Italian made. |

Here are the segments, in order given by fr.wiki and confirmedby reviewer dbdumonteil: 1. L'Avarice et la colère (Eduardo de Filippo) filmed in Italy 2. La Paresse (Jean Dréville) in France 3. La Luxure (Yves Allégret) in France 4. L'Envie (Roberto Rossellini) in Italy 5. La Gourmandise (Carlo Rim) in France 6. L'Orgueil (Claude Autant-Lara) in France 7. Le Huitième péché (Georges Lacombe) in France. Maybe could we have sort of episode-marking for the pics. (Correction: in my copy, 'Envy' is before 'Gluttony'.) -- Last edit: 2016-01-13 00:09:27 |

Since you gave, 50sParis, nice pics of super-luscious Claudine Dupuis (piquante in 'Gluttony' of Carlo Rim, a fine story with its surprise ending for all of us peeping toms), Michèle Morgan (great in great 'Pride' directed by Claude Autant-Lara) and Andrée Debar (very good in an otherwise rather angrying segment, Rossellini's 'Envy', with unbearable Orfeo Tamburi), I'll add gorgeous Viviane Romance, caught in Yves Allégret's 'Lust', another of the good (what an uneasy mood!) sketches, this one signed by Pierre Bost and Jean Aurenche, like 'Pride'. If sketches 1, 2 and 5 are not good, the rest was rather or very satisfying for me. Time-tagged. Oh, I added also two and two vehicles. Since I can't ID the US car (but I see rjluna2 is already on it), I'll tag the movie 'last completed'. -- Last edit: 2016-01-16 02:52:42 |
